Bunch o' free tiles by Magiscarf Bunch o' free tiles by Magiscarf
FREE TO USE.
Please credit and don't edit.

Everything here is by me, a.k.a. Magiscarf, but I do look at other people's work for inspiration from time to time so if you feel I've been a little too inspired by your work let me know.

I plan to add to this and update as I improve. I can also always use help, tips, and ideas, but no guarantees I'll follow through on any. :p

ONLY THE STUFF YOU SEE HERE IS FREE. Don't use other work I've uploaded, even if it's also on this tile sheet.

------------
Edited to add some snowy trees, snowy tall grass, some rocks, some building edits, and few other little things here and there.
Edited (2) to add some hills, water, and a few other tiles.
Edited (3) bunch of houses with slight variations (because I can't decide what to go with), some more hill/water, more plants, etc. I also tried to make the arrangement of the tiles nicer to look at, although it's made the file a bit larger.
Edited (4) to add terrace tiles and a few trees.

Epic tile set, looks really wonderful and you made it free to use and edit. Kudos! Awesome job.

I seem to have a problem though, when I download the image in PNG format, the black and white checkered background is embedded into it, meaning it is part of the background and is not empty. Therefore, when used to Tile a map they overlap and leave patches of white and grey around the sprites.

Any idea how I can download this PNG so the checkered background does not show ? Much appreciated.

The background is part of the image. You would just have to edit it out with an image editing program.

So cool tiles. The problem is that I'll have to make 'em compatible with rmxp Dx

Why don't you want people to edit them? I'm just curious, as every tile in my game that I haven't made myself I have heavily edited to fit with my style, and all of the tiles that I release I allow people to edit due to this.

If you want to edit them you can. I don't really mind anymore.

I love these tiles so much but do you have any idea of how to import this into RPG Maker XP or Pokemon Essentials? It's the program used to make the games like Pokemon Reborn and Pokemon Obsidian where it's not on an emulator.

I absolutely love these tiles and are definetly using them in my hack. My question though, is if you've ever thought of creating indoor tiles as well to go along with many of your tiles? I love your style and wold be honored if you made a few indoor tiles and I was able to implement them. :) thank you!
